Finnish market leader Fastroi demonstrates how digitalisation boosts integration of health and social care sectors
At the Residential & Home Care Show in May 2022 in London, Fastroi will showcase how digitalisation can support the integration of health and social care, with a particular focus on the new Iocal integrated care systems. Fastroi will also launch a new White Paper that presents the hows and whys of a digital rostering and scheduling system in reablement services.

Effective, more accountable and responsive integrated care systems need strong collaboration and integration between public health, social care and health care. To boost digital transformation in the social sector, the Department of Health and Social Care announced in February 2022 that it is committing £150 million to ensure that 80% of care providers implement a digital system by March 2024.
“This is where digital data and the innovative use of technology can support easy and effective teamwork while saving valuable resources and reducing bureaucracy,” says Risto Jalovaara, CEO of Fastroi.
Fastroi’s fully integrated digital care management systems provide management in social care with a comprehensive overview of their operations, while allowing employees the opportunity to be more focused on care work. In 2021, Fastroi systems had over 40,000 end users in over 1,000 private and public sector sites across Finland and the UK.
“We are delighted to have four councils among our UK clients. Thanks to this collaboration, we have an active role in the digitalisation of the social care sector,” continues Risto Jalovaara.
The new white paper addresses the crucial role of innovative technology in the strategic development of reablement and home care services
Fastroi’s new White Paper “Benefits of Digital Rostering and Scheduling to Reablement Services” provides insight into how real-time management helps relieve hospital pressure by providing a more expedient reablement process from referral onwards. It also discusses why making the move to using Fastroi’s Real-Time CareTM can improve and change the way people are cared for.
“Fastroi’s software supports an integrated care systems approach that is becoming increasingly critical for achieving successful and effective health and social care,” explains Mike Richards, Fastroi’s UK Sales Manager.

Fastroi are now part of the European-wide myneva Group
